DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
As we come to the end of this term, it’s important to take a moment to pause, reflect, and give thanks. The journey of a school term is much like running a race. There are moments of joy, times of challenge, and always, the sense of community that carries us through across the line!
In 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, we are reminded, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” These words encourage us to maintain a heart full of gratitude, no matter what we face. Thanks to the staff of LORDS for their commitment, energy, passion, and care. We are truly thankful for each one of you.
Thanks to our parents/caregivers for entrusting us with your children and partnering with us. Your support, whether it’s seen in the classroom, at events, or through the simple encouragement you give at home, is invaluable.
Thanks to our students, our young people. They’ve faced challenges with courage and achieved so much through effort and hard work. Remember, you are loved, you are capable, and you are a vital part of this community.
As we reflect on this term, let’s carry forward a spirit of gratitude, knowing that God has been with us every step of the way.
Prayer:
Loving God,
We come before You with hearts full of thanks. Thank You for guiding us through this term, for the strength You have provided, and for the joy found in our community. We lift up our staff, parents, and students.
As we start our holidays, may we find renewal and rest. Keep us safe, fill us with peace, and prepare our hearts for term four. Help us to continue rejoicing, praying, and giving thanks in all things.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
