Co-Curricular
There are many opportunities for students to be involved in co-curricular activities during their time at LORDS. Some of these include:
- Arts Festivals - Winter Soiree, Spring Soiree, Musicals
- Inter-school sporting competitions (District and Lutheran Swimming, Athletics, and Cross Country Carnivals as well as games competition with local independent schools)
- Kokoda Challenge
- Junior School Student Council
- Lunchtime activities including ‘Just For Fun’ clubs in the Junior School such as Games, Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Colouring
- Involvement in Awareness Day and Awareness Week for Australian Lutheran World Service
- After-school dance and visual arts lessons
- Instrumental lessons (piano, guitar, strings, drums, and singing)
- Speech and drama lessons
- Choirs
- Eisteddfod participation
- Wakakkiri
- Gardening club
- Japanese club
- Association of Gold Coast Colleges (AGCC) sporting competition (from Year 7 onwards)
