DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
It’s hard to believe that we are approaching Easter already. Every year, Christians celebrate Easter to remember Jesus’ sacrificial love for us. Jesus died on the cross and rose back to life so that all people can experience his goodness, love, hope, and peace.
When Jesus lived on Earth, he walked among people experiencing poverty, and those people on the fringe of society. Jesus experienced what it was like to be human - rejection, betrayal, suffering, and pain.
Our challenges, difficulties, and circumstances may look different today, but Jesus understands them. And, amid whatever trials you may be facing, Jesus offers his peace.
Parents, friends, and family are welcome to attend our LORDS Easter Worship at Highway Christian Church (Creek St , Ormeau) on Thursday 28th March as follows:
Year 7-12: please be seated by 8.45am
Prep – Year 6: please be seated by 11.15am
- This year we will be praying for families in our community and their needs: Barham, Basran, Beck, Beere, Bell, Bennett
- Pray for the Parish as they call for a new Pastor to serve the parish and school
- For staff and students as they head towards to assessment and reporting
- For families experiencing grief and loss
- Give thanks for friends and family who understand us and love us
