DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
As we come to the end of another term and prepare for Easter, we are reminded of the deep love and compassion that is at the heart of this season. Easter is the ultimate story of love—God’s love for the world, Christ’s sacrifice, and the promise of hope and renewal.
In the busyness of life, it can be easy to rush through these final days of term, checking off to-do lists and looking ahead to the break. But Easter invites us to pause, to reflect, and to open our hearts to the love that changes everything. It calls us to live with compassion, to walk alongside others with kindness, and to see the goodness in those around us.At LORDS, we seek to live out this love in our daily interactions—encouraging one another, showing patience, and offering grace. Whether in the classroom, the playground, or at home, we are called to be people of love and hope.
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32
As we move into this Easter season, may we take time to rest, to be present with those we love, and to reflect on the gift of grace we have been given. May our hearts be filled with the hope of the resurrection, the joy of renewal, and the call to share God’s love with the world.
Prayer
Gracious God,
Thank You for the gift of this term and for the love and compassion we see in our community each day. As we approach Easter, help us to pause and reflect on Your great love for us. Fill our hearts with kindness and our lives with the hope of the resurrection. May we carry Your love into our families, our friendships, and the world around us.
Amen.
